In 2005, she received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery with honors. During school and throughout her career, she found that educating patients and helping the underserved became her main focuses.

Along with providing dental care at various clinics for the underserved, Dr. Gentile has also volunteered at numerous charitable events in Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona and Utah. Dr. Gentile has a unique background unlike any other dentist you may meet. Not only has Dr. Gentile enjoyed playing piano for over 20 years, she also has over 10 years of experience in restoring vintage pianos prior to becoming a dentist. In 2013, Dr. Gentile was the first dentist to be a guest lecturer at the University of Utah School of Music to speak about how playing piano enhances her dental career.

Dr. Gentile enjoys all sorts music, music events, playing piano and walking her dog in the beautiful mountains of Utah. She loves the challenge of music trivia and encourages most everyone she meets to be involved in music or to learn an instrument. Dr. Gentile firmly believes that being involved in music grows the mind and improves motor skills needed in dentistry, medicine and other careers that require good hand skills. And music might be a part of it.
